Every item here is already in the application. Nothing on this page is a promise for later.
Fast, correct bills at the counter
- Scan or type. Search by name or barcode, Enter moves on, F9 saves.
- The rate fills itself. From the MRP, for the unit you pick (strip or tablet), with GST worked out. A rate you type is never overwritten.
- Oldest batch first (FEFO). Expired stock cannot be billed.
- Out of stock? It suggests medicines with the same composition that you have, cheapest first, and replaces the row in one tap.
- Hold and resume. Put a bill aside while the customer decides, and finish it later.
- Customers and credit. Type a phone number to pick the customer and see the credit due against the limit. Partial payments and a ledger per customer.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dolo 650 | 2 | Strip | 28.57 | 64.00 |

A health score that is measured, not guessed
The owner sees a score out of 100 on the admin home. Each part comes from a real measurement, every lost point has a reason, and a check that cannot run is never counted as good.
- Data (40): stock against batches, negative batches.
- Safety (25): backup age, whether the latest backup really opens, database integrity, secure settings.
- Speed (20): pages timed on your own server.
- Shop (15): expired stock, low stock, missing MRP and HSN.

Built so mistakes get caught early
A pharmacy loses money in small errors. These checks run on their own.
- Duplicate supplier invoice is refused, in any letter case.
- Odd purchase entries are flagged: price 40% above or below the usual, a quantity ten times the usual, a price of zero, a selling price below cost, a missing or short expiry.
- Expired batches can never be billed.
- Scheduled drugs cannot be billed without the doctor and patient details.
- Stock and batches are compared every time the health score is measured.
- Imports show a preview and mark which columns are needed before anything is saved.
- Warnings never block you. A deliberate unusual entry is saved with one click.
- An audit log records important changes and who made them.

Questions shop owners ask
Where is my data stored?
In your own database on your own server. Nothing is shared with anyone, and a compressed backup is taken every day.
Do I need special hardware?
No. MedSync runs in a web browser on any computer, tablet or phone. A barcode scanner works like a keyboard.
Can my accountant use it?
Yes. One Excel export has the sales and purchase registers, credit and debit notes, GST by rate, expenses and payments. The GST page also gives GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and HSN summaries.
Is Schedule H and H1 selling tracked?
Yes. Billing asks for the doctor and patient details for scheduled drugs, and the drug register exports to Excel.
Can I move my existing stock into MedSync?
Yes. Products, stock and purchases can be imported from Excel or CSV. You see a preview and any problems before anything is saved.
What happens to expired medicines?
Expired batches are never billed. They are listed on the expiry page, and you can return them to the supplier or write them off. Stock and accounts adjust automatically.
Can several staff use it at once?
Yes. Each person has a login with a role, so billing staff, purchase staff and the owner each see only what they need.
How do I know the numbers are right?
The owner's health score compares stock with batches, opens the latest backup to check it, times the pages on your own server and lists every problem with its reason.
